About the department
St. Xavier’s College, Burdwan offers AICTE Approved B.B.A Hons. under The University of Burdwan. It started its journey in 2019 with only 25 students, which now crossed over 140. The department aims at bringing out the best in every student by imparting quality education. The faculty members try their level best to interact with each and every student to bring up their best through presentation, internal assessment, seminars and other various events. The faculty members employ a variety of pedagogy like lecture method, role play, case studies, GDs, etc., for effective content delivery with different BBA club activity, awareness program, seminar and industrial visit. Department provides placement assistance for the students.
The magazine X-HIBIT was launched by the department of Business Administration in association with ‘IQAC’, St. Xavier’s College, Burdwan.
St. Xavier’s College Burdwan, provides Marketing, Human Resource and Finance as specializations for the BBA Course. In the year 2022-23, the department provided Finance as specialization for only one student also, as one candidate shows interests to take Finance as specialization.
